My Favorite Hobby: Painting
Painting is my favorite hobby because it lets me express myself. I started painting when I was 8, and now my room is full of my art. I love using watercolors to create soft landscapes or acrylics for bold abstracts. When I feel angry, painting calms me; when I’m happy, I paint bright colors. Last summer, I painted a portrait of my dog, and my parents hung it in the living room. Painting also teaches patience—sometimes a piece takes weeks to finish. It’s a world where I can be creative and free.
